Very nice and clear explanations of how to effectively use the extra exchange. The key point for me is to use the rook’s superior mobility (moving from one arena of battle to another) in order to create new weaknesses that can be exploited. I’d not seen the Korchnoi-Karpov game before, so that was a treat. 🙂
