I found 3 different lessons for myself in this helpful video: 1) Make sure to look closely at the position after every move so as to avoid overlooking opponent’s options 2) Do not get so locked into a plan that flexibility is lost and opponent’s chances are not addressed 3) Be aware that even a strong game can be spoiled by even one superficial move. I think it was Paul Keres who advised: “There’s no such thing as a game so good that it cannot be lost.”
