  1. The psychological factor is well-illustrated here. I know that my own game tends to slide when things turn against me, and that I play more strongly when I have a better position. The insights into your thought processes and reactions to the opponent’s moves are very illustrative. I appreciate your candor in presenting this game.

  2. Quite a strange game . You dominated , even playing in practice without a rook , but ‘ fell asleep ‘ and forgot to put him under pressure along the lines ‘ d’ and ‘e’ getting rid of his only active minor piece by threatening to play at a certain moment Kb3. You moaned all the video long that your light squares were weak , and exchanged immediately your Bishop in f3 who could easily control or fight for the diagonal b1 – h7 ! Your opponent survived out of an extermination camp , having the King unprotected , a dead rook , a queenside that was there but it was as if it didn’t exist ….It seemed to me you had anyway a vast array of different choices and plans , but could never decide . The same happened to me a few days ago , when I allowed the opponent’s King to take a stroll around the whole board and ….win. Probably in the two games a ‘ killer instinct ‘ had made a nap .Result : half a point out of two .
